Im digging a pond and I want to put Gator gar in it, to what minimum dimensions should I make the pond?

Also what are some other alligator-like creatures whether they be fish or amphibian or reptile I could put in my pond?

If you're planning on keeping it until it dies, you're going to be digging a huge hole...like the size of an in ground pool.

For a full grown gator gar you will need something along the lines of 20'x20' minimum. It takes a very long time to grow that big though so something 20x10 would be fine

Make sure the pond doesn't freeze during the winter. You need a depth of 3 feet minimum.

What would be the largest possible Newt/Salamander I could get, i'm looking for something to be a Gator mimic. Snapping turtle would probably be pretty cool as long as I find a giant one and introduce it to the pond.

you going to put a fence around the pond to keep the reptile/ amphibians in?

You need the fence to stop small children falling in and getting snapped up by a adult gator

So many people say they are building a pond I wonder how many happen

Not saying this one isn't for real I just wonder how many get finished
