So ive got a 25inch and a 16inch alligator gar curuntly at a 10ft*10ft*1.5ft tank so my question is is this tank big enough to hold these two fish, and also on the picture below the part that is separated by the blue boxes hold 9 piranhas, should i remove the piranhas.

Im not asking before i buy the gars, im asking because i have 2 alligator gars.

I wanted to know a better tank size cause my 25inch gar has beenwith me for one year and 9 days exactly. I dont want to give him away or donate him, just wanted to know a better tank size so i can house him well

thats a pretty good effort 2 house ur gators imo... not sure if theres any reports of one over 4-5' in captivity. i have some 4-5 yr olds still at 26"-30" in a 10' pool/pond. id say build something deeper for them down the road and ull b fine. maybe 10'x20'x2'... u have plenty time to upgrade tho as ur already keeping them in a larger enclosure than most.

Actually i have 2 10ft tank, they are together separated by a cement wall. I could take the wall down and raise the surrounding walls 1ft higher, any way thanx for the information.

thought i seen another tank/pond wall in ur pic... nice :)... u could have the 2 gators in ur current setup no prob until there 4' i wouldnt worry much. biggest problem i could for see is one maybe jumping out, but they have plenty room in ur 10'x10'. well done on those big setups!

Yha this is the the two tanks.one without the blue boxes is houseing 14 pacus, 9 giant gouramis 4 iridescent catfish, 1 redtail catfish, 1 freshwater eel and some native river fish of sri lanka
