My alligator gar is about 12inchs. He just recently started laying on the bottom and won't eat. If he does try to eat he ends up throwing it up. Help please??

Yes their is a high fin spotted pleco. I will test water and get pics tonight. He is still not eating.
did he has a rough belly? a belly with no slim coat or the scales has fallen off? if he is then the pleco killed him.
the pleco as probably sucking out the slim coat from the belly or the gar at night and gave it an infection. I've lost 3 gar like that and it happened in within 2 days I put the gar and pleco together due to the pond freezing up.
