alligator gars to floridas on pellets

why is it that my alligator gar eats pellets but my not my floridas?

The Atractosteus genus; gators, cubans and tropicals, tends to convert to prepared foods easier than the Lepisosteus genus.

Alligator gar have my length of 48 cm, but don't eat pellets. I bought him Hikari carnistics jumbo.

i sugest u use crickets to get ur floridas attention, then throw your your pellets st the surface so they splash.. that got mine biting
