Alligator snapping turtle anatomy

Just curious, how many digits or toes does an alligator snapper have on its fore limbs and hind limbs. And what happens if it lost a toe nail? In what circumstances does it not grow back?

toes does alligator snapper have? front 5, rear 4.

if missing toe nail, what circumtances does it not grow back?
this one i learn from wild caught tortoise pet, that i ever bought. if your turtle toe nail missing one full toe nail, this one can not grow anymore in any circumstances. but if your missing toe only half of your nail, maybe it can grow to normal but need some time.
