they are not real alligators they are what is called caiman crocadiles and they grow to about 3 feet you do not havt to have a permit to own in mi
SORRY but i used to have a real american aligator and it did not look like that
its defintly looks like a dwarf caiman ( whatever they maybe they are realy good looking and at a good price) when i lived in florida i payed $450 plus $150 in permits
