hey guys, I havent been on in awhile, and my tank is not doing so good.

My cousin just passed away in a motorcycle accident so the tank has really been the last thing on my mind. And i broke my arm so working on it is difficult. I have bubble alge all over, and i cant get rid of it. I added a few emralds to and they dont seem to be doing anything. any advice will help. If i cant get this fixed i think i will tear the tank down.

And with realizing i had the tank on the back burner for about 2 mouths, i have no idea how much damage i have done.

First of all let me say, I feel for you with all the trials and tribulations that you have been put through, lately. The second thing I will tell you is Do Not tear down your tank now is the only thing that will help you keep your sanity. Working your fish tank with one broken arm can not be as bad as working on a fish tank from a wheelchair, not to minimize your pain, just to help you realize you can do it. If you put in a bunch of snails and maybe some Tang's it should get rid of your algae problem. If not let me know and we can see what we can do about this. PS, if for the fish are living there can't be too much damage, as a matter of fact if it ain't broke don't fix it. Just enjoy your tank.

Sorry Chris, Bad to hear. I also have to say hang in there. I was without power for 4 days and I am still dealing with the resulting problems. Keeping fish can be a pain, especially when you have more important things to think about. Don't give up.

First: sorry for the struggles and everything

Also; I had a minor problem with red alge, i was told by a person that 3 day black out wold get rid of it, and it did, been gone for like 2 weeks i think. i will look for the person who told me i should do it so you can pm them.

the person was
Kay-bee

props for the info that was given to me. i would P-M them
