90% through the cycle, Nitrites coming down well.

Added a bit more of the ammonia.
Accidentally used the regular household stuff under the sink that isn't pure ammonia, but has some other cleaning stuff in because it caused the sump to bubble on the return.

What can I do?

Do I need to empty the whole thing and bleach it and rinse and restart the whole cycle again?!?
Or will I be okay to do a lot of water changes and then with the water in the 90 gallon it should dilute it enough?
What are the consequences if I leave it this way?

That would be a horrible waste of 4 weeks if I have to restart everything. :(

do a 50% water change at the end of your cycle, the bacteria is not in the water so much as the media and glass and substrate, dilute your problem!! then add the fish

Awesome.
If I swap out 10 gallons of the sump, with the 90 gallons added from the tank, I think that should dilute it enough I hope.

I'll do that, then let the tank cycle with the sump for about a week and do another 50% change, sound about right?

you sound very patient, once you have the 0, 0, 10+ reading your ready, you have a good plan

good plan but make sure that nothing you have in the sump will hold onto the cleaning chems.

i am paranoid but i would put a feeder fish or two in for 2 or 3 days just in case and if they are fine your new fish have food on move in day.

That's a great idea.

I'm just finishing up my background for my 90 right now anyways, so once it's all setup I'll toss about 4 feeders in there and leave them a week.

If all looks good, I'll do the big move.
