I have a compaq notebook and decided to grab a lcd tv tuner card that would work with notebooks,well the guy says the one i got will work ok you da man.
I hurry home love new toys lol and unwrap this thing follow all directions done to the letter so i'm at the last step turn it on bzzzzm there goes my notebook ,no lights nothing aggghh!!
2 hrs later after thinking i fryed my $$ notebook and reading all my manuals i tryed one last thing to turn it on i unplugged it and removed and replaced my battery well thank god it worked ..
I still had to play some more and found theres an extra pin on the vga plug in for the tuner that shuts down the note book guess compaq dont want peeps using them as tvs??
