was at the LFS and there was swimming a jardini, the first arowana ive seen up close, being the compulsive buyer i am i had to quickly walk away! hopefully soon i can have one but right now i have only a 55 and upgrading is not an option

i had to do the same thing the other day. seeing them in pics and in person is two completely different things lol. about 4 inches long. im still thinking about picking him up friday though for a 75g then eventually a 500g. but wise move. but now u have an excuse to buy another tank!
 
$60 dollars isn't over priced. But good for you for waiting, they grow fast and you'll save yourself many headaches by waiting, get yourself a bigger tank then get the arowana

not even close to overpriced. that's the average price i've seen.
