Almost up and running - stock help

I just about have my 240g up and running and I am not sure what I want to put in the tank. I definitely will get a Red Tail Giant Gourami, but outside of that I am unsure.

I have perused the Giant Gourami sticky, but there is so much information there you get a little lost...

What else should I put in my tank?
