Yep. Been telling my wife for 2 weeks now that I need the baby medicine dropper/eye dropper. My kids are 11 and 13 now, but I KNOW THAT THING IS STILL HERE SOMEWHERE! I NEED IT!

Only 3 tries, eh?

I bought a 10 mL syringe yesterday. Fill it up, squirt exactly 5 mL into the test tube, not much quicker, but it does eliminate that little bit of frustration from my day. Well worth the $2 I paid for the syringe.

I was upset that every time I tried to get water in the test tube, I either ended up dropping the tube into the tank or have to get the water in the tube at the 5ml. mark by adding and pouring out the water until it was at 5ml. I also have flowerhorns and it's not fun trying to get water in the tube while trying not to get bit. Went to Walgreens and picked up a couple of eye droppers. Problem solved. Also, since the API kit comes without a lot of the glass tubes that always ends up dropping and breaking, I went to Amazon and bought 24 API glass tubes with caps for $15 and a test tube rack for $5. Two of the best things I've bought for testing my water.
