hi all im doing research for a new tank build and i am looking into pumps. the tank will be ruffly 300 gallons not including the sump. i am looking at trying to get 5x turnover at 5 feet of head. inhabitants will be sa/sc cichlids. so my first though was to go with a quiet one 6000 which would do the job at 3 amps. so i was looking and found this pump http://www.123ponds.com/pal2100.html that will do the job at 1.6 amps. for the same price
