Alright guys I need some expert pleco advice...

So, I've had this Rhino pleco for roughly two months. He is about 9 inches long. I have only seen him eat algae off the glass and he completely ignores shrimp or algae wafers. The other Rhino pleco I have with him is roughly 5 inches and eats like a pig. Anything from spirulina flakes to zucchini. What can I do?

have you tried soaking the food in garlic? also, is his belly sunken? water temp? water parameters?

I have not tried garlic. Does garlic stimulate appetite? Belly is not sunken but he is not as filled out as the smaller one. Temperature is 78 degrees. I am not sure of the pH.

Hes probly eating but not doing it when your around. My rhino is a little shy during feeding but if i go across the room he starts eating.

Did you do any water change recently? Might have something to do with your water parameters.
