I have had my new tank set up for about a month now and I have a black backgroung, white sand , driftwood, plants and 4 silver dollars, a wolffish and dino birchir but my water is not crystal clear! it seems like an almost yellow! idk but i have a feeling its my light!.i will post a pic in a minute so just tell me what you think the reason is.

yes, that is correct. i recommend Seachem Purigen. works great for clearing up water and its rechargeable, saving u money in the long run.

It could also very well be the light.

I had the same problem in my tank, it always looked yellow. I do not have driftwood and do 3 water changes a week of 30-40g each time. I bought some GE Aquarium tubes from Lowe's and now am very happy with my tank. No more yellow!
