Hey guys. I have a native setup with sunfish and a bullhead catfish. I have them pellet trained on sinking Massivore Delite pellets. The love them, but when one or two go uneaten, even in my 210 gallon tank it stinks up my whole basement. Now I realize that I should clean up any uneaten food, but my catfish will eventually come out and eat any uneaten pellets. Is there any other food that I could switch too and my fish will still eat it that doesn't smell as bad?

I can't get them to eat any pellets on the surface and they end up getting stuck to my overflows.

How about Sinking Shrimp Pellets? My fish switched to them from massivore no problem.

I have the Wardley ones. They don't go after them and they seem to break up pretty easy. Then again, maybe it is because they are a small barrel shape instead of the familiar round tablet Massivore shape.

Wardley... yuck.

I feed them kens..they love it!

One of the big sinking formula should do the trick...

I see they have a 10mm Mega Fish Formula that sounds good. I would like to try and get a sample of it to see if my fish take to it though. Anybody know where I can get one?

Don't even bother trying the 10mm NLS pellets on a sunfish.
Way too hard and way too large of a pellet. And this is coming from someone that has raised sunfish on NLS. A large bullhead etc can handle the 10mm but your sunfish will spit them out.

Get the 3mm Large Fish formula.
