Hey People...

I've been looking for bogwood/driftwood/mopani for my tank, I'm on a tight budget and can't really afford the prices at LFS, buying from elsewhere is cheaper, but by the time delivery/postal cost is added then it's even more expensive then LFS

I know there's substitutes ornaments/plant pots etc... But I'm trying to look natural as possible (heavily planted etc)

Is there any tree's I can take a saw to and make my own wood type decoration with?

I know a lot of tree's are poisonous, but can anyone name any for me that I can safely use?

Thanks

I also did not want to pay the money for driftwood, but wanted some kinda ornament. So recently I put a deer antler in my tank, which is safe to do so with no velvet but it increases your Ph so you must monitor that,.

i have had mine from an indian mango tree,i let them dry and buried it in soil for half a year, then it came out so natural, the carvings was beautifully made by termites
