Altifron???

Are they suppose to be aggressive? He chases around my Festae that's his size. Thought they were pretty peaceful

Astatheros altifrons or Geophagus altifrons? Neither is too aggressive, but Astatheros altifrons is tougher.

It's geophagus I didn't they were aggressive he/she surprises me snapping biting and chasing my Festae

which fish was in the tank first? If it was the Geo, it is acting normally, as the dominant tank owner.

Geo was there first but because of the temperament I thought it wouldn't be a problem

Once your festae settles in, it'll probably put a stop to that fairly quickly. My lenticulata pikes got chased and nipped a lot when I first introduced them to my cichlid community... two months later, they handed their tankmates' @sses back to them.
