Can I add 9 altifrons (2-3 inches)to a new 125 gallon 6ft tank? And how long will it take for them to reach 6-7 inches?

Welcome aboard

It depends on how healthy the fry will be, diet, and water changes. Keep nitrate level low with 50% or larger weekly water changes. Another factor will some will grow slower due to the pecking order.
