Altolamprologus temperment?

I am planning on getting a few different 1" calvus and a couple 1 1/4" compressiceps and I am hoping on keeping them with other non-cichlid fish until they start to grow. Are these fish aggressive, or relatively peaceful to fish who do not establish territory?

As long as they can not eat them they should be fine

Also, if you want them to breed you should probably not mix Altos and Comps. They will cross.
