So, within a couple of months, I'll be setting up another 55g tank. Insted of CA Cichlids, I plan on going with some SA. I was planning Altum Angels and some German Blue Rams, along with some Cardinal Tetras. The tank will be moderately planted, and will also have some driftwood thrown in. My current stocklist goes like this:
5 Altum Angels
4 German Blue Rams
~25 Cardinal Tetras.
Would this make for a good setup? I'd be willing to get rid of the German Blue Rams in favor of another Angel (since I figured an even number would be better?), or more Cardinals, if I had to, but I would like to keep them if it would work out well. Good stock, overstocked, understocked? The Altums I'll be getting are about 8'' tall, and the tank is 24'' deep (standard 55g). I decided I wanted these Altums the second I saw 6 at the LFS I'll be getting them at that were about 14'' tall. They where total monsters height-wise.
So how does this stocklist sound? Should I get more of anything (maybe I could get more Cardinals, yeah?) or get rid of anything?
