Hello

I should be getting some Altum Angelfish soon and want to know is there a way I can breed them. I have seen a pair laying eggs on youtube, but that's about all I can find. I know I probably won't be able to breed them, but i'm going to try my best. I need to know what size tank should I try. I need to know if it would be better off spawning them off as pairs or whole groups. I need to know what number of them should be kept together, and what is suitable as far as spawning sites.

I don't keep angels, so I don't keep up with it, but from what I have read, there are no confirmed cases of true Altums breeding in captivity. Some have claimed to have bred them, but reports were later disproven, or an Altum was crossed with a domestic etc. Good luck!
