Hello fellow fish keepers!

I was meaning to register for awhile... but always procastinating gets the better hand... hehe!

any who.... i have been a ish keeper for awhile now.... when i came to the Philippines for college, I started breeding South Am. Cichlids... and kept some Arowana Tanks... Salt Water Tanks... had one Arapaima that I sold after 1 year(toooo big!) My precious Red Golden Malaysian Arowana.... and my Red Bellies.... I bought around 30 of them... around the size of a quarter left them in a grow out pond for about 5 to 7 months.... fed them chicken liver and heart... also some occasional live feeders... took them out, 26 survived... and they were around 4 to 7 inches in 6 months.... the pond was like around 4ft x 7ft. and no lighting. just dark water.... sold 10 and kept the rest for until i cam back here in the US.....

I also kept Various African Cichlids specially from lake Tanganyika....

Well... that's just about it....

oh now.... i only have a few.... as I said on my Subject line, always a Newbie.... i have a Spilo and Frontosas and more to come.....

I will post pics soon! I do not have pics of the tanks i had in the Philippines tho'.... sold them all before I came back here in the US. But i have some pics of my present tank..... will do it once i get a chance, i'm still at work right now... sssshhhhh! lol
 
\m/-_-\m/ welcome to MFK and we are alway glad to see more filipinos on here :D haha my cousin is going to school in the Philippines and he has a couple aro tanks too.
