today i came home early from school because i had an eye appointment, and i noticed that my jewel was beating the turd out of my betta imbellis, so i put the three bettas into seperate mason jars before i left. i thought about covering the bettas, but figured nothing would happen. DUH!!!! after the appointment i picked up 3 cardinal tetras, and when i got home (its a 45 minute drive) i put my fish bag in the tank to climatise. then i got on the computer for like 15 mins. finally, i noticed that one jar was missing a betta. i checked the floor, under the desk, and then on the desk and i found the betta 6 inches from the jar.
i thought he was dead, but i tried to revive him like you would a fish that you caught on hook and line, and he spit out some bubbles and started to swim. now he is fine in my sisters tank. i'm never going to make that mistake again.
