So I donated a fish to a friend that had a 45g with like 3 2.5" danios in it. I had a pink kissing gourami that just seemed to pester any fish it was with-cool fish, just destined to get beaten on or chomped in 2 in my bigger tanks...

Anyways...I have a transport bucket I use that has a notch for tubing to use a battery powered airstone. I drained some warm tank water-installed fresh batteries in the bubbler and was off!

Got there and found my water was still a few degrees warmer that the new tank, so off with the lid and I added some of the tank water to my bucket and I stepped away for a few minutes for acclimation time.

About 15mins go by and I hear a little splash and a light thud. It had to have been about a 14" leap out of the bucket onto the floor! No harm done really, but that gourami was done with the bucket!

Next time I'll keep the lid on!
