Does it ever end? Finally got my PH under control and my 6 inch jar jumps out when no one was home. Jumped thru the small space between the hob filter and glass. Came home and my son says, where's the fish? Looked behind the tank and found him. Picked him up and he was dry and sticky but still wiggled a little. Put him in the tank and see him gasping for air. I went upstairs to put away the groceries and expected him to be dead. To my surprised he was swimming like normal. No gasping, wounds or torn fins. Has been swimming like nothing wrong for the past 2 hours. Turned off the lights and left him alone. Anyways, I was planning to do a 25% water change today because the ammonia is very high, green colored in the API test tube. Should I still do the water change (tank is divided and was thinking about changing the water on the side he's not in, wait until at least tomorrow or use amylquel temporarily until I know he's totally healed then change the water? I think I've posted more in the past couple of days than my whole time here. Advice, please Ed.
