For keeping a banjo catfish in a 8gal square tank? It has a natural sand and few plastic plants but that's it.

I want have an aquarium to keep me enteraining while living at a dorm. Can't have a 20gal here. So I have decided to get a banjo catfish because I thought that it would be a prefect fish for a 8gal as they are.....well banjo catfish. Better than a betta or a tankful of inbred guppies.
