I have a Giant Rafeal cat (Megaladorus Uranascopus). Are they all slow growers or is it just mine? I've had him about 10 mo. now and haven't seen much growth out of him yet. He used to reside in my 150 gal. but, the Red Devil took over his cave. Now he's in the 40 gal. with the juvi Festeas. I can never find alot of info about him so, anything you all can tell is greatly apprieciated.THANKS!!

We have 2 fish from same family doradidae,pteradoras granulosis and they are in a 200gal with a plentiful supply of food yet they have only grown to less than 12" in 18 months,given that they can reach 30" I dont know if they are incredibly slow growers or if they had been stunted before we got them.I have not seen any info stating either of these fish grow so slow and compared we have two oxydoras nigers from the same family that have hit 26" in two years.Try feeding yours copious amounts of snails-their common name is mother of snails catfish.
