Hey all, I've finally started stocking my 55 again with something aside from inverts, and I'm worried pretty soon I'm going to be overstocked.

My setup-
55 gallon standard
Ac70 filter
Pair of T10 grow lights
Baby dwarf tears that i'm trying to get to carpet out a little

what i have-
1 angel- dunno how to measure, but his body is almost the size of a silver dollar
1 Bulldog pleco- 2"
+ or - 10 ghost shrimp- mostly full grown

I want to add 3 more angels, and perhaps either another bulldog or a bristlenose. The shrimp aren't breeding at all, so I'm just keeping them until they die off naturally of old age since my angel doesn't even give them the time of day.

As i said, i have the Ac70. I'm in the market for another 70 or a 110, so pretty soon I'll be way overfiltered again. I'm doing weekly waterchanges of about 20%, more or less.

So, i figure my stocking is fine for now, but can i expand how I'm wanting to or do i need to drop the extra pleco or limit the angels?

thanks!

The plecos(either or) aren't going to get really big so their no problem. The ghost shrimp won't live long. Personally adding another 3 angels would be fine to my standards. When their full grown and at their largest(years from now) it would be nice if they had a larger tank, but for quite awhile 3 more will be fine easily. Just don't get a pair, which you really can't help. Another filter would be appropiate with the extra angels. :)

Yeppers, you will be okay.

Go for it your not over stocked. The Angels ime grow rather quickly. Probally in a year from now they would be adults.
