Am I Doing It Right?

HI,

Whenever I do a water change, I pull the hose and stick it in the corner of the tank to refill. I just trickle drop (hope these are the right words) the proper amount of conditioner. Is this method safe or should I invest in a pump to push pre-conditioned water up the tank?

Exactly what I have been doing for over a year. No problems here.

Your method is fine. Just put the conditioner in first, the water flowing into the tank will mix it up.

i do the same. Some people will premix before they put it in the tank though but that's a p.i.t.a. if you ask me

The way your "suppose" to do it according the the back of the bottle is mix it as you go but unless your using the bucket method just keep doing what your doing.

me too until i saw a similiar thread and realized alot of people are doing it the same way i am.
