Am I done with my first cycle?

I'm 24 days into my first cycle. All my readings are in line except for ammonia which is only reading .25. Ammonia spiked and came down to .25. Nitrites spiked and came back down to 0. I started with 12 gold fish but am only left with 7. Am I ready to introduce my baby piranha's into my 55 gallon tank? I haven't performed any water changes yet, should that be something I do at this point as well?

i would do a water change and add some stability then add the fish...

He means your ammonia reading should be "0".

what kind of test kit are you using....after water change you should be okay.....25 also depends on what kinda fish you are planning on putting in tank....some fish are just really hard to die

I plan on putting piranha in the tank. It's safe to do a 25% water change now that I'm at the end of my cycle?

You should be doing water changes throughout the cycle. Yes, it's ok to do a water change now.
