am i expecting to much to soon

i have had my jd/texas hybrids for a little over a month now and i haven't seen any colors starting to form. The only thing that has changed was the dots all over them, they have gotten larger and a little bit more pronounced. they are all still under three inches, the smallest is two inches. any idea on how long intill there colors will come in. there still a very basic color.

and with the gravel. it is out now and i have converted to sand, its a little bit darker than what the gravel is.

I'd say wait for them to get another inch or two for them to starting getting some color.

just wait an inch or two. i'm sure they will be beautiful fish, you just got to give them some time

i know im gonna have to wait but i thougt that after a month after being in my tank they would start some time soon. and some one told me they would stay the color they are now. that kinda made me think about them being large and the same color as there as babys. i didnt like it.

If they are going to change color which I would assume they would it will take much longer than a month.
