From what I've researched so far, I've read that crays are to be kept in aquariums without heaters, and that they should not be fed too much so that they don't molt too often.

So, how much should I be feeding my baby electric blues?

I've only had them two days and I offered half a spirulina wafer (broken into two quarter pieces) once a day. Is that enough for the two lil ones or should I offer two feedings per day of the same size meal?

TIA for your help :)

maybe something meaty like fish to add to their diet.

they need meat, veggies and everything in between. I feed my big ones once a day and always fed ones under 2" two time a day.

Generally, you should feed what they can eat in 1 hour.

thanks, uh, what kind of 'meaty' food? I read that you should not feed them shrimp.

I'll pick up some frozen bloodworms, what else?

All the care guides I could find mentioned some veggies once in a while, but that prepared foods such as pellets will make up the bulk of their diet.

oh yeah raw shrimp can have a fatal crustacen disease

I think I'm going to make spirulina pellets and sinking cichlid gold the bulk of their diet, supplemented with frozen bloodworms and veggies every couple days.

That will be a perfect diet. :)

edit- Yeah, raw shrimp should not be fed to crayfish.
I feed mine tilapia, potato, and various types of pellets
