Hello i am on vacation for a week and left my aunt in charge of my fish tanks. Problem is i just found out from my mom that most animals my aunt takes care of usually die. FROM OVERFEEDING :eek:(HOLY *****):eek:
Should i be scared?????:jaw-dropp:1zhelp::cry:

yes u should be. The best thing to do is powerfeed them the 2 or 3 days before the trip, do a massive water change, and then leave them without food for the time you are out. They will survive, I guarantee it

i was gonna pull that one but my parents said it was """"CRUEL""""

tell them it is better to have hungry, live fish than overstuffed dead fish

next time
OHHH GOD I HOPE THEY SURVIVE

X2 what Onion said. I did it with my rays and other fish for anywhere from 3 days to over a week and never had a problem.

i know i tried to convince my parent to let me do it but they told me i couldnt go if i didnt tell her how to feed my fish

ya then get a timer so the light scome on and go off, i did that at my other house when i had to got train for a cpl days, feed a ton for a cpl days or at least the day b4 and didn a big tank clean and water change, set timer for light and i also but a airstone in it just in case a filter stops working or a heater goes nuts and gets to hot in hope they would have the air to live tell i got there, you should be fine, just tell her to check on them and if she sees any problems or has ? to call you.

lol i go to school at green river of 18 kinda close to where u live, if i knew u better i would so watch ur fish for ya, thats the best way i did that when i lived in so cal had some local buddys that new what they where doing and i came home to some fat and happy and clean tank
