Alright so I picked up 20 red bellies like 3-4weeks ago at 3/4 to 1" and when I got them as soon as I walked by the tank they would shoot into the gravel, but after 3-4 weeks of dedication and effort my red bellies are Insane!!! I stare them in the eyes all day long and when I walk past the get all giddy and zoom to the front of the glass. Today I put in a frozen pinkie mouse soaked in vitachem and I literally turned around to pick up my phone and it was gone. I thought it may have fell under the driftwood so I ignorantly put my hand in the tank to look around, I felt at least 10 rubs against my forearm and a bite near my elbow. I immediately retrieved my arm and was a tad freaked out haha so now I have a little nibbit on my forearm. I quickly threw in 4 cubes of krill and watched my p's attack. Am I lucky or what to have such relentless piranha?! Let me know guys
Love,
Roid

maybe because you have a larger group there more aggressive, instead of just having 5-6 a larger school would be more aggressive right? confidence in numbers!

I would have to agree. They're displaying more of their natural behavior.

i was going to say the size of your shoal is a major factor but looks like it's been pointed out. plus they're still tiny, pretty active stage of their life
