Hi,
I have a 100g tank filled with big and small dats, 14" ornate, 9" flagtail, and 6" common pleco and I have always been paranoid about filtration and flowrate.
Anyways, the tank itself has a waterfall overflow in the back where I have bioballs and I have connected 2 Fluval 404's and just recently got a FX5. Inside the tank I have a 2 powerheads (jebo's).
So my question is, I got a 10g tank with ~15 clown loaches (1-3") and I was thinking that I should disconnect one of the 404's and use it on the 10g instead. Is this a good idea? Or should I just leave the canisters alone and put another powerhead in the 10g? I dont want to take away anything from my 100g that needs to be there.
The 10g already has 1 powerhead in there and I just poured in some ammonia remover (couple of handfuls) to act as substrate. I am looking around for a 20g long for the loaches, but until then they're stuck in the 10g.
anyways any input would be appreciated.
thanks
