As I was feeding my Silver Aro this morning, I started wondering if I'm giving him a well balanced diet. He gets fed twice a day with Hikari Tropical Food Sticks. That's the only kind of dry food he'll take so day after day after day he eats the same pellet type food. Twice a week I'll toss him some frozen krill, market shrimp or I break off chunks of frozen mysis or brine shrimp which he gulps up with gusto. Do you guys think that's enough or should I be adding in something else to his diet?

You can add crickets that have been fed carrots once a week. Also once big enough to eat whole market shrimp you can stuff food sticks or pellets inside the shrimp.
Also can try earthworms.

Thanks for the ideas. I forgot to mention that he gets live nightcrawlers at least once a week. You can't beat Walmart for price...$2.99 usd for two dozen nice big fat ones.

It look fine and well fed.

Thanks Koi I appreciate it. I just want to make sure that he gets enough vitamins and nutrients. It's my first Aro, I can't believe how fast these things grow.
