i have a 3 meter deep en 1 meter deep fish tank , there are some bog big chiclids in there (20-30cm) 2 ray's (30-40cm disksice ) and a arowana silver ( of 50cm ) i got a smal longnose gar ( now in the growout tank )

wil this work there is quite alot of wood ? wil tis work ? i archieved to get arowana's to work with oscar's angelfisch discus and and smaller chiclids and nor prob ( the discus are now with the angelfich and the others in an other tank so they can breed ......

is there a chance it wil work ? greets

and srr for my englich

no problem with your english, you did well :)

as for the combo, however, i would advise against it. longnose gars are very prone to breaking their backs, and can be quite skittish. with all those fishes in there it will be difficult for the longnose to do well or possibly even survive.

you MIGHT be able to get away with a Florida/spotted gar in that tank, but i would strongly advise against the longnose. cichlids and the arow would likely outcompete the longnose for food, as well as potentially spook it or harass it to the point of breaking its back.

if possible, i would just keep the longnose in a separate tank with more peaceful tankmates such as bichirs or other gars--
