Seems to me that most folks seem to be almost obsessed about having massive koks on their FH's.
Personally, I really prefer a much more natural look in terms of head shape. Am I the only one ?

Here's my ZZ red dragon for example ...

I know he's no show-winner, but I woundn't want him to have a bigger kok. I love his general shape, although he could certainly fill out a little more.
Seems to me that these bulbous koks must really be a bit of a burden on the fish, and definately interfere with it's field of vision.

Any thoughts ?

I love huge kok's. It does look off when it gets to big. Your flowerhorn looks good, But it would look better if it had some kok. It has good shape and fins, and his mouth ain't bad either.

lol.

i think a decent sized one is nice but too big it just looks like a deformity and looks like its effecting the fish.

Not too fond of the giant koks myself.I guess its to each his/her own.But I do think some of the superior grade FH's are really nice as well even with giant koks.

IMO, i do prefer in the color with medium size of hump.. i dont like a monter kok which is looks like a tumour..

I don't keep flowerhorns, but a definitely agree, a huge kok doesn't look as nice.

This'll sound kinda silly, but I guess I think the kok looks better when it's proportional to the fish.

Not a fan of the giant kok's either. I can tolerate up to a medium size. As long as it doesn't look disproportional i suppose.
