So I have about 200 cichlids in a 600 gallon tank and this is how I have been feeding them. I have a 20 gallon plastic tote and I just dump all the food in that, I have over 30 lb of food in there now. I have found this to be the easiest way to vary there diet as I have over 12 different foods all mix together with NLS algae max, thera plus and cichlid mix making up about 40% of the total food, I also have sperlena pellets, shrimp pellets earthworms, white worms, plankton and many others. I go through between 4lb and 5lb a month and it cost me about $2 a day to feed the tank but this is only high quality fish food. I will not buy anything that dose not use the whole fish or anything that have fish meal in it. anyone else do something similar? How do you very your fish's diet? Do you vary it?

Also expect for NLS and North fin are there anymore high quality fish foods out there, not API, Hikari or stuff like that.

I put it in another bucket that only hold 4lb or so and that is the one I take out of. Just looked at the pictures and it is the blue buckets next to the bin. Also I go through that in about 6 months.

I never mix foods but do feed a variety of foods.
So do you have a schedule or just every couple of days you change it up. It in my head but it seemed like I went through things quicker that way. Also I have fish from baby's a day old to about 6'' now so I also need different size food every time too.

Good quality pellet food.
Whats good quality? Imo there is only 2 I can find and that is NLS and North fin all other I see use fish meal or bad fillers. I am looking for some that are cheaper but I can't find it.

I personally have small and large fish. Feed the small fish everyday with a different pellet flake or freeze dried Mysis Shrimp. My large fish are fed every other day large pellets and Tilapia on next Freeze Dried Krill for Datnoid and Tilapia for the Bichir.

Dianichi isn't cheap so I guess it doesn't matter.
