Am i treating fin rot correctly?

My 'big boy' Boris ( betta) whom I had for 8 months has a case of fin rot. I would like to know if separating him into a heated container suspended into the aquarium and keeping him in brine ( 1 teaspoon per 3.8 litres) is the correct treatment. thanks.

Can you post your water perameters including hardness if available?

Continue useing the salt do daly 25% water changes and replace the salt remove by the WC.
