Amarillo killed RD/Midas

Hi all,
So I have this very aggressive Amarillo that was chasing my Blackbelt the whole time. I posted about this a while ago and give the Blackbelt his own tank.
The Amarillo is quite peaceful to my smaller fish (Green Terror's, Jack Dempseys and convicts). But the Midas was gaining size on him and was almost as big, so I guess the Amarillo decided to take him out. Very sad cause this Midas went was already 30cm (a foot) and still growing quite quickly.

probably saw it as a threat bc of size. keep an eye on him, he looks dominant and might take outh the others one day.

I agree. It's terrible to lose such a nice fish, especially one at that size. Related species can be hard to keep together sometimes.

Sounds like he needs to be a solo fish or only kept with fish that only grow to 6". My male in my signature started going after his smaller brother when he reached 7". Truely is too bad.

Thanks for the replies. Yes he just hates everything that is over 8-9 inch..
