Yeah so from the research I’ve done. They are 2 different fish but very similar.

Not the same fish. As far as I know none have been imported. The river systems that they originate from have no existing road system and can only be reached by boat or helicopter.

Kevin at tangled up cichlids imported some a few years back. Only time I believe they were brought into the states. Hopefully whoever purchased them is having success breeding them.
