I just got a pair from jeff rapps on friday and they are sitting in a 20g by themselves for now but i was wondering how long it would take them to start breeding the sizes are f 2" and m 3.5"? Is there anything i could do to help speed things along.

should be able to breed any day now....just keep up with high quality food and good water conditions, nothing special
thanks that what i thought would be the case but i didnt know. My ph is roughly 8.3 will this cause a problem? how long when they do breed will it take for them to hatch and then become free swimmers? at what point can i remove them so i can grow them out?
