Hi
I bought a trio of these last year from an importer here in the UK, they were an impulse buy. Being a Convict fan i couldnt resist these, the male is over 6" and the females were 2" and one was a wopping 4"!!! I lost the 4" female, but the smaller one is doing ok. The importer and i discussed their identity and came to the conclusion that they may be Rio mongan convicts.
Can anyone possitively confirm this?? These are cracking fish, very active and inquisitive.
This is the male, my opologies for the bad quality of the pics, the bleeder wouldnt stay still!
The female was particulary hard to photograph, once again, sorry for the poor quality.
Unlike Amatitlania nigrofasciatus females, she is devoid of any colouring to her body and is quite drab really.
Any ideas???
Regards
Wayne
