Thatr thing is easy, although I had some difficulty in following his explanation, him being a Hokaidan with that dense dialect..
the trick relies heavily on the perisimphatic qualities of dual mono symbiotic glass particle partition cum globular vitriolic handling..once you master that gene trait in glassial superstructure, it is actually quite easy..although tricky, most of the time, to seal....

its actually quite simple... you see.. as he flicked the cards onto the glass (creating a diversion) the angelfishes quickly grabbed the corrisponding pieces and stuck it on the tank....
as for the hole in the tank... the platies and skirt tetras were responsible for it... they slowly removed the fish-food based seal around the hole allowing him to stick his hand into the tank... and to reseal the hole you ask? they did the reverse, they use the regurgitated foo to glue it back on...
so its not really magic at all, just precice cooperation
