IMO, one of the most underrated and underappreciated species in the hobby. Below is a quick picture of my pair fending off a 5" female Fenestratus. They are absolutely fearless creatures, and a wonderful species to keep (despite their common/high availability).

Stunning female :D I've always had cons I used to breed them for LFS when I was a kid , I've still got a stunted rescue male in my grow out tank he keeps himself to himself but takes no nonsense off any fish , quality species :)

I agree with the poster these guys dont get a lot of attention because of them being so common. They are a hardy little fish that has a lot of attitude and spunkyness. I like my more exotic fish as much as the next person but I still have my good ole common Green terror. Its getting even hard to find GT's in fish stores anymore atleast in my area.

Convicts got me started in the hobby. Love'm :headbang2 Great pic!

Great fish-all the convict types-I picked up a pair A.siqua recently, almost got the HRP, need more tanks!

I love cons, I have a 3 year old and his 8 month old son in separate 40 breeder tanks.

3 Year old male Con? I'd love to see him. Old/bulky male Cons are amazing looking fish. I'm sure he's a beast!

Here's one of my chunky males that I had. I can't wait til my calico males get this big.
