good stuff. stripped undeveloped eggs from my female auratus at 1 am. had her in the same breeder hangon box with a divider in between. i left the lights on for the next couple of hours and then turned them off. turned them back on at 6am and separated the female. for the next hour i tried to find a way to get the eggs tumbling through the hangon breeder. gave up and tried to see if she would take the eggs back in. SHE DID.

last time i did this my other female ate the freeswimmin fry. so mbunas will keep their eggs even through all that stress.

Any fry?

yeah she still has them in her mouth. its just surprising that she went through all that stress and time being separated from the eggs and still kept them. i THINK most others would eat the eggs or forget them as their own. my other one ate its freeswimmin fry when i stripped her.
