Its an oarfish.

I dont think there are any pictures or videos of live ones as they only live in the deep sea and come to the surface to die.

Actually now that I think about it I think there is video out there of a dieing one on a beach in California I think.

oarfish are cool! I would love to see a video or one in person! Must be wild to watch swim!
 
It is an oarfish, also called King O' Herring (Regalescus glesne), there are not many pictures of them alive but there is a film clip of a dying one, they are a twilight depth predator (20-1000 meters) but juveniles are often caught at the surface. The record for an adult is 36.6 feet and almost 600 lbs.

yeah oarfish are awesome. want to cathch one and put it in a 100k tank. But first I need a fishing pole. and a 100k tank.

i saw it on tv...it was on real tv or something....it was near shore....it was like 30 feet long.....
theres a few clips of those fish online....one where marines caught one......one where a group of people captured one but let it go cause it started turning over and dying....and the first one i mentioned....cool rare fish to see

i would not at all be suprised if they found one bigger
