Well I walked by my fish tank and took a look inside, and my pleco's tail was sticking out of one of my filters(I forgot to put the little cap thingy back on the end of it). I seen my Oscar looking and I thought uh oh he sees a midnight snack. I was gonna get ready to pull it out, but I seen my Oscar swim towards it and it bit its tail and gently pulled it out =O I was like WTF?!? No damage was done to the pleco my Oscar just let it go as soon as it came out and the pleco swam away as if nothing happened.

Usually my oscars dont bother the pleco at all so it doesnt suprise me that urs didnt but ur lucky that the pleco didnt injure himself getting stuck in there
Ya I am very lucky, but it's crazy that my Oscar helped it. That takes brains or something o.o maybe the talk to each other haha.
I would love to think that the oscar deliberately saved the pleco, but isnt it more plausible that the oscar thought it was originally food when it could only see the tail, then soon realized it was his tankmate. I dunno, cool story nonetheless- Still, they could just be cohabiting really well- even save-a-friend-from-death well.
Ha ya it is more likely he thought it was food at first, but it's funner to think of it the other way.
